Event Planning

One of the skills I’ve grown to love is event planning. From coordinating logistics like catering to decorating and managing setup, I enjoy every step of the process. Seeing it all come together is incredibly rewarding.

Delta Zeta Kappa Psi Senior Luncheon April 2025

As the Alumni Relations Chair, one of my responsibilities was planning our Senior Luncheon. I organized and executed the entire event while also being a senior myself. It was a great experience and I enjoyed seeing how an event comes together from behind the scenes. I'm really proud of how it turned out, and it received a lot of positive feedback.

Planning Included:

Gathering a headcount
Designing and sending the invitation
Ordering stoles, roses, and gifts for seniors
Coordinating catering
Reserving a space on campus
Purchasing decorations and utilizing what we already had
Putting together a photo slideshow
Setting up and cleaning up
Creating the photo wall
Staying within budget

Shippensburg Fair Kiddie Day for Volvo CE July 2024

As part of my internship, we had several opportunies to assist and sometimes lead events. One of my favorites was planning VCE's section in Shippensburg's Community Fair during Kiddie Day. Myself and my co-intern took the lead on this and the kids had a blast. We had activities like corn hole, hard hat decorating, coloring, building legos, and more.

Planning Included:

Putting together interactive, fun, and educational games for children
Designing signage
Selecting prizes for games
Gathering and purchasing necessities
Gathering employee volunteers to work the event
Getting shirts for volunteers from the brand shop
Setting up and cleaning up
